I haven't read much about Pro-Find problems.at least not at the same level as the F-Pulse. Given the bolded part, I figured I'd be getting the 35 over the 15 (assuming I got the Pro-Find), but I wanted to make sure I know what I was getting for the extra $30 or so. For my spare it's between the Pro-Find35 and the Fpulse although both have had their issues by the looks of it ? I'm sure I'll end up taking the gamble anyway at some point. It's seems an unusually high number of complaints which is unusual for a Minelab product. I keep reading over and over again people saying they had problems with their Pro-Find which is why I haven't rushed out to get one, I want one for it's discrimination feature as it's something I don't currently have but all the people complaining of faults puts me off. The 15 is their entry level machine, as with all metal detectors you get what you pay for, the basic rule is buy the best you can afford so you don't want to upgrade later as it just costs you more in the end. If I was back coinshooting I'd be ok with the 35 but most likely prefer the old Garrett? For nuggets I really have no real need for any PP?.jmoġ5 only has auto retune, so you can't do what they were doing in that video. ![]() The sound on the ProFind has dropped to about 1/2 of when I bought it. For me, it is not near is good as my Whites TRX. My recommendation would be to find a way to use one first. What I mainly use it for now is when I'm chasing that loud banging signal you know might possibly be a large chunk of iron and you've worked your butt off getting closer to it.then the Ferrous/non-ferrous function of the 35 comes in real handy and could save you some digging if indeed an iron target or nail. I haven’t used it as much as I would like to. Like mentioned.PP's for my small gold really doesn't help me much but I do still pack it and get by with the 35. The 35 also does weird go crazy stuff and I needed to shut it off and turn back on (retune maybe?). The really small bits both PP's had to touch or almost touch the end of PP and half the time neither would sound off on the smallest bits. Myself and Goldseeker did a sensitivity test between the Garrett Carret and the 35 and the 35 was a tad more sensitive on some small nuggs by maybe a 1/2 in. The real significant upgrades come with the Pro-Find 35 where in addition to having On, Off Audio indication, Vibration Indication it also has a LED Flashlight, 5 Levels of Sensitivity and Target Identification Standard, 6 Ferrous Tone ID. I should ad that for the small nuggets I normally find the "divide & conquer" method works best for me. My goal is to reduce lag as much as is possible if you know what I mean.I have one and probably shouldn't comment as I've only used 2 PP's now, The original black Garrett and now the Pro-35. I have the same Taotronic 5.0, but, no symbol for APTX LL on the Nox. Well, I'd be interested if you put them in receive mode and paired to the Nox if the + symbol would display. TaoTronics Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter and Receiver, 2-in-1 Wireless 3.5mm Adapter (aptX Low Latency, 2 Devices Simultaneously, For TV/Home Sound System) TROND Bluetooth V5.0 Transmitter Receiver for TV PC iPod, 2-in-1 Wireless 3.5mm Adapter (AptX Low Latency, Pair with 2 Bluetooth Headphones Simultaneously), Black I see they are now BT 5.0 but still designated APTX LL so they should show check mark when paired as a receiver to the EQX. Minelab Pro-Find 35: quality build, but expensive Nokta PulseDive 2-in-1: best for underwater and scuba diving Falcon MD20: best for serious gold prospectors Let’s take a look at each one of these pinpointers in more detail. ![]() I have not tried to verify by pairing with my Equinox, but I pretty much know by ear whether I am LL or not. I use the same headphones (Miccus SR-71's) with my Equinox and GPX. The BT 4 2 version of both these APTX LL transmitters pair up with my BT APTX LL headphones and I have used both of them successfully in LL mode with my GPX. Any input or suggestions would be bigly appreciated. I need a transmitter to use with the Q-12's for minimum lag. My Q-12 earbuds when paired have the + sign. ![]() I'm not trying to use it with the Nox, but another machine. I have 3 models of the Taotronics TT-Ba07, 08 and 09, none give the + sign when paired to the machine. I was wondering if someone has a 5.0 bluetooth transmitter that they've paired with the Nox to see if it is actually APTX LL or not.
